"Uncle Merwin is genius in the kitchen. Best Thai food I've ever had. If you're in Bang Tao beach area you must try Uncle Merwin. He is a one man show. Cooks, cleans, takes the payment. So don't expect fast service. Doesn't matter. The food is well worth the wait."

"We read a lot good reviews about him before, but today we can say "it's not just good, it's wonderful to be here!" Silent and cozy place. Uncle cooks so well that we didn't leave even a tiny rice on a plate! Thank Uncle and may God bless him! All thing are delicious and surprisenly not even expensive! With great Respect from Qazaqstan!"

"Excellent homemade Thai cuisine at very affordable prices. Every dish can be ordered with beef, prawn, squid, seafood, or chicken. I highly recommend the Tom Yum and the green curry. Everything is prepared fresh by the owner, and since the restaurant has only three tables, you might need a bit of luck to get a seat."

"This man is dedicated to cooking for one table at a time and it is well worth the wait.. best food we had in Thailand, ate here most days whilst we were here and will be sure to visit again next time we’re in Phuket, food cooked in front of you! ‘Don’t worry be happy’ will be the phrase we remember from him!"

"It’s a one-man show here, so there’s a bit of a wait, but it’s SO worth it. Hands down the best Pad Thai I ever had. And my friend said it’s the best fried rice he ever had."

"We just got back from there, and it was one of the best lunches we’ve ever had in our multiple trips to Thailand. It’s a small family-run restaurant with only two tables, and the host takes your order and cooks right in front of you. Super cute place, incredibly good food, with only about ten classic Thai dishes on the menu. Every dish is just 90 baht. The whole experience and the food quality were perfect. Five dishes, a Coke, two waters, and a coconut came to only 580 baht. Of course we left a generous tip, and we’ll definitely be coming back soon."
